The Clear Quran® Tafsir For Kids – Surahs 1, 49-114

"What makes this translation unique is that it has been edited by kids, for kids. I have worked diligently with a team of students (mostly grades 2-5) to identify difficult words and replace them with easier ones that carry the same meaning. As for the words we couldn’t replace, they are explained in the glossary, along with the Arabic terms used in this book. With the help of qualified Islamic and public school teachers and professional editors, we made sure that the translation is accurate and accessible." Mustafa Khattab

Teach your kids the Quran through learning steps, lessons to be learned and side stories. This children's Quran will ensure that your children [and even you] learn all the lessons behind the verses you are studying. Designed with Muslim children in mind, this illustrated Quran [with English Translation] introduces young Muslims to the Quran. It is designed almost like a school textbook, with learning points, feature boxes, notes, context and further explanation. It provides answers to some of our kids’ most challenging questions about their faith, the Creator, and the world around them. Great for people of all ages

I'm in my late twenties and I found this version of the Quran both engaging and accessible. I'm not a revert, but have had limited teaching and understanding of the Quran over my lifetime.
This book was easy to understand and follow. I can tell the author put extra care into making sure even the most simple-minded wouldn't misunderstand the text. I find traditional translations of the Quran harder to understand and frankly not engaging. This version adds the right amount of context - especially for beginners - and has the right foundation to then be supported with other texts that can perhaps add more depth and understanding. I will definitely be purchasing the other volumes for our family library.
