Hajj, Eid ul Adha & the month of Dhul Hijjah

"Out of twelve months in a year, there is one that is particularly dear. It is the month of Dhul Hijjah, along with the beautiful day of ‘Arafah." Dhul Hijjah ذُو ٱلْحِجَّة is important for many reasons. The twelfth and final month of the Hijri year includes the best ten days of the year, the Hajj pilgrimage, the day of 'Arafah (9th Dhul Hijjah) and Eid al Adha (celebrated on the 10th of Dhul Hijjah).
